Superstars from ARTstorm on facebook

The Facebook SOURCE Foundation page is developing into a pretty good resource. I hate to promote facebook but have to admit I find it an amazing resource. We’ve also got up your own personal invite page to this years SOURCE event.

We put up some video of Dick Nelson teaching his Color Class at ARTstorm that is well worth watching for anyone who loves color. ARTstorm was a free all day event at the Hui in Makawao, Maui  sponsored by SOURCE. We provided anyone who signed up with classes on sculpting stone, dancing with poi and staff, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter… and my favorite: Color.

ARTStorm @ the Hui

You are welcome to join us at the Hui on Saturday to be entertained.
But it’s more likely, you’ll be inspired.

During the day we’ll be offering free workshops. Sign up now as they will fill up.
You are also welcome to tour the grounds of the Hui and discover the amazing art resources offered.

And SOURCERS will be available to answer any questions about the festival and to include you (no pressure) in one of the many interactive artworks happening throughout the day including the making of a music video, theatre improv performance, body painting, and The Band.

At 6 o’clock, we will go into full swing– roving magician, kit kat hostesses, video art installations…
and at 7pm, we begin our story.

You’ll find out all about the festival that happens at Camp Keanae in February. We’ll show you video and slides. Then 8 different artists will talk about their plans for collaborative interactive-art installations. Don’t miss this. It will all be over by 9pm. It will all go by very fast, and we’ll do our best to entertain you.

But if you are inspired to create your own art project for SOURCE don’t tell us you weren’t warned.
